  1. 2022 – now

    Senior Software Engineer, Techfinity LLC

    Technical owner for EVAM, a real-time customer engagement platform, at five telecom operators in Pakistan and Iraq.

    • Built an offer-eligibility service covering more than 125 million subscribers that processes around 100 million records a day within a six-hour window.
    • Designed and built Spring Boot REST and SOAP APIs for real-time campaigns and integrations, and Kafka producers, consumers, custom topic managers and listeners for the platform's event engine.
    • Lead up to five developers: I decide how each requirement is built and own code review, test strategy and the definition of done.

    I work with the solution architect in client discovery, analyze each operator's existing systems and define how the platform integrates with them. I also moved monolithic components to Spring Boot services, optimized PL/SQL queries and procedures, and built custom React and Next.js applications for operators.

    Built the e-commerce platform for Coleman Furniture.

    • A custom e-commerce framework with about 2,000 unit tests and an Entity-Attribute-Value product model.
    • Pricing for bundled and configurable products using the strategy pattern.

    • Churn prediction, calling-pattern prediction and recommendations, trained on 200 million subscriber records.
    • Tree- and graph-based algorithms for identifying calling patterns, built with data scientists.
    • Administered an Oracle database of about 87 TB.
